Focus On Missions has served in a wide variety of locations.  From the Inner City of St. Louis to the mountains and plains of Montana … from Russia to Nicaragua … from Mexico to Taiwan … from the sidewalks of the Hope Abortion Clinic to the Demolition Derby Arena in rural Missouri.

The base of operation for Focus On Missions has been primarily in the northern Mexico region.  Focus endeavors to lead as many people as possible to the mission field for their first time and northern Mexico is more accommodating for first timers.

Why does Focus endeavor to take as many people to the mission field as possible?  We believe that once a person experiences missions outside of their “comfort zone” many of those people will consider God’s call on their life to be a full time career missionary.  There is a tremendous need for missionaries … in 2005 the International Mission Board has approximately 5500 missionaries … about the same amount of people that is on an aircraft carrier … basically not too many people when you consider impacting the world for Christ!

The base of operation is in northern Mexico … however Focus does maintain active contacts and leads trips to other parts of the world.
